I’m a website designer and mentor, and I support designers and developers to build sustainable, confident businesses around the work they do best.

I’ve spent over a decade working in and alongside the web industry, mentoring designers and developers through the messy middle of running a business; from pricing and boundaries to consistency, confidence, and decision-making. I also host the Websites Made Simple podcast, where I share practical, grounded advice for web professionals who want clarity without the noise.

I created Sparks because most designers don’t need more information. They need steady guidance, honest feedback, and a place to sense-check their decisions as they grow.

This is mentoring that meets you where you are. I’ll help you focus on what matters, move forward with confidence, and stop second-guessing every step.

Your questions, answered

The calls take place every Wednesday from 1 – 2pm, on Zoom.

The weekly coaching calls are for an hour each week. From 1pm – 2pm every Wednesday.

The group mentoring is on a monthly recurring basis. You can cancel at any time, there’s no tie-in.

You’ll get the most out of the session if you bring something you’d like to talk about. Whatever is going on for you and your business that week, bring that and I’ll help you to untangle it so you can move forward.

No. And there will definitely be no shaming for your software choices. You use whatever works best for you. The weekly mentoring sessions are designed around working to best practices, marketing, confidence and more. As long as you can build websites, the mentoring will do the rest.

The weekly coaching sessions are open to all website designers and developers. There’s no tie-in and people can join or leave at any time. Therefore I can’t guarantee how many people will be in each session. If the group becomes too big for us to get through everyone, I’ll open up additional weekly slots for people to join.
